Day off work due to weather!  Got out this morning before the blizzard totally shuts us in.  2 miles into the wind but the next 2 miles the wind blew me home (almost felt like I was cheating).  18 degrees., 20 mph wind.  Added an extra layer but got pretty warm.

Well what a run!  I decided since I had the day off due to weather it was a gift that I could use to take a run-after shoveling the driveway.  It was 18 degrees and 25 mph winds from the north west (news said gusts up to 40 but i don't know about that!).  I ran in the field for some of it cuz the snow was not as deep as in the road.  What an adventure!!  Just got a call that I am off work again tomorrow too-gonna be awful cold though, high of 11.

I set a PR-unfortunately not for speed or distance but for coldest temp I've run in! 5 degrees!  But the sun is shining and the wind is only 7mph so it is actually beautiful out and the extra layer i put  on way too much, I had to take some off after 2 miles. Always an adventure!

Prefect day for a run.  Got out early before the winds pick up!  First 8 mile run ever, didn't time myself.  I will next week.  20 degress winds only 8mp - took a new route-nice.
